Background and Experience: Peter
has been playing violin for 12 years.
He plays and teaches in a variety of
styles which include classical, country,
bluegrass, rock, jazz and pop. He
regularly plays with Los Angeles
bluegrass band, Murphy’s Flaw. Other
ensembles and productions he has
played in include, CSUN Symphony,
Moorpark College Jazz Band, and
Hank Williams and Lost Highway at the
Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center. He is
currently freelancing and playing in
bands around the Los Angeles Area.

Name: Shauna Potrawski
Speciality: Piano and violin
Background/Experience: Shauna grew up in
a suburb of Chicago. She began taking
piano lessons at age 6 and violin at age 10.
She participated in her church and school
orchestra throughout middle school and high
school and also participated in the pit
orchestra for high school musicals. Also in
high school, she studied piano at the
Wheaton Conservatory of Music in Wheaton,
Illinois for 3 years. She was a member of the
Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra for 2 years in
college and graduated from Elmhurst College
with a Bachelors of Science in psychology
and Spanish and a minor in music with a
certificate in Piano Pedagogy. She has 5
years teaching piano and violin to children
and adults of all ages. In January 2013 she
moved to Southern California to be an intern
with iEmpathize, an organization fighting
human trafficking. Her other passions include
running and reading.
