experience in teaching. As a form of music therapy,
she also enjoys playing other instruments such as
the Irish Flute, Native American Indian Flute, and
Classical Flute.

Specialty: Jazz, Saxophone, Flute and Clarinet
Background/Experience: Stephen has been
teaching and performing for 8 years.He has
studied with local studio musicians such as
Kevin Garren, Vince Trombetta, Bruce Babad
(Fullerton College), and Rob Lockart (CSUN).
He began his education at Fullerton College,
and is now at California State University of
Northridge, where he is working on his
Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Studies. Stephen
currently plays lead tenor in the CSUN Jazz A
Band under the direction of Matt Harris/John
Daversa.

Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Piano
Experience/Background: Julianna earned a Bachelor’s
Degree in Music Education from California State University,
Northridge. She has performed with the Camarillo Community
Band, the CSUN Wind Symphony, and the CSUN Wind
Ensemble. She taught beginning instruments at Calahan
Elementary School and was co-director of the wind program
in 2011. Julianna also worked with the concert bands at
Royal High School in 2012. She had the incredible
opportunity to teach young musicians through the Youth
Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA) at Hearts of Los Angeles.
She is currently working on receiving her teaching credential
at California State University, Northridge.
