Name: Bart Wells
Bart Wells is a versatile multi-instrumentalist returning to southern California by way of Miami, FL. Bart picked up the Guitar and Bass at age 14, and by 16, was playing gigs at Hollywood venues such as the Whiskey A-go-go, and Key Club. While studying Bass in the Jazz program at California State University Northridge, he began to expand his repertoire, adding gigs/sessions on Piano, Drums, Mandolin, Ukulele, and Banjo. From Rock, Reggae, Jazz, and Bluegrass, to Classical, Latin, Pop and R&B, any genre with a good melody and solid rhythm section has served as an inspirational influence. Throughout his career, Bart has performed across the country, working with many great musicians, including Artifice (signed to Universal), Phase, Atomic Odyssey, Dinah’s Hourglass, Red Carlon, The Trailseekers, and Miami classic rock power house Metropolis (with Grammy Award winning pianist Augustine Espina and guitarist Scott Emmons). Bart has also written/produced/recorded various albums, including Joe Carvers “Carver Country”. With a focus on fundamental techniques, music theory, and his student’s favorite songs, Bart is sure to help aspiring musicians of any age.

Background/Experience: Has been teaching for eight years and has performed for more than 15 years. BM degree in Vocal Performance, and studied intensively with Carlo Bergonzi in the Bergonzi Masterclass Workshop in 2006. Vocal styles taught are classical, musical theatre, pop, rock, jazz and folk. Mariana has performed leading roles including Musetta in “La Boheme” at Townsend Opera Players', Zerlina in “Don Giovanni” at El Dorado Opera Company, Adina in “L’elisir d’Amore”, Nannetta in “Falstaff”, Adele in “Die Fledermaus” and more. She has also sung at the Hollywood Bowl with Wynton Marsalis and with Berry Manilow at the Kodak Theatre in the vocal ensemble.

Background/Experience: Rachel Hinojosa has been playing violin for 11 years and piano for 13 years. During her high school years, Rachel made the decision to continue her love for music and the performing arts. Instead of going to a traditional high school, she enrolled at Santa Susan Performing Arts High School in Simi Valley. She was in string orchestra, piano class, music theory class, and production orchestra throughout her time in high school. A part of being in the string and production orchestra, she had the opportunity in competing in yearly national competitions located in San Diego, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Hawaii winning and placing with other national high school orchestras. Students in her music class will be taught music theory, scales, tunes, but most importantly playing their instrument with passion whole heartedly.

Experience: Charlie began his career in music at age eleven after being forced intoplaying piano before he could be allowed to play guitar. Little did he knowthat pianos and synthesizers would become his biggest passion in life, leadingto several years of performing on tours across the country, recording, andteaching. Since then, he’s picked up bass, guitar, drums, banjo, mandolin, andis also now a producer, audio engineer. He’s trained classically and in jazz onthe piano, and enjoys writing, producing, and recording for pop and R&Bartists. He has played in several bands ranging from folk and indie rock groupsto hip/hop and R&B acts, and is currently focusing his efforts on hiswriting team in Hollywood and his R&B group based out of the San FernandoValley. Charlie loves teaching as much as he loves playing, and has experienceteaching students of all ages for five years.

Background/Experience: Serena is a singer/songwriter from Los Angeles. She started singing at age five, began writing music and words on guitar at age nine, and writing music and words on piano at age sixteen. She was born and raised in a musical family. From 2012 to 2015 she worked with two time Emmy winning composer/producer, Lars Deutsch. Serena released two singles, "More Than Friends" and "Silly Games” in 2015, with Mr. Deutsch, as well as some jaw dropping music videos to go with the songs. Currently, Serena in the studio finalizing a brand new radio hit album with the very talented producer Raz Klinghoffer, whose work can be heard on television shows such as "American Horror Story," Ink Master" and "The Flash." Serena is also working with J2Producer who has produced and remixed songs for artists such as Beyonce, Shakira, LL Cool J, The Pussy Cat Dolls, and Cassie. Serena has teamed with Fenton Music Management as her new representation and could not be happier to be represented by Rob Fenton. “In The Night” was the first single from her new sound, released April 7th, and is summer jam you can't get out of your head!July 29th, she released a heart themed record titled "Hollow" that is garenteed to get you feeling some things in your chest! The music video for the record came out August 2nd, and is stunning piece that touches on a serious topic of domestic violence Serena is advocate about.
Jonathan Menchin started playing the piano at age 8, played with a working rock band in the Catskills at 14, became a music director at Chicago’s 2nd City at 23 and continues to play piano for comedy improv shows. He played with various recording artists in New York and Boston.He played solo jazz piano from The Great American Songbook for 10 years in Chicago. He has a BA in Music & Theater from Hunter College, The City University of New York with a specialty in songwriting for musical theater. He is the book writer, composer and lyricist of the musical “Move.”He is currently the co-creator, co-producer and music director of TopTune, The Songwriters Game, a live music songwriting game show which has been running for over 3 years in Los Angeles.
